What do I select in the applicant type field on the personal details screen?
The applicant type identifies the job for which you are applying. If you change your applicant type the original application will be updated to reflect your choice.
If you are a student and wish to apply for a position, you must select an applicant type that matches your current qualifications.
Education majors in their senior year are encouraged to complete the student applicant type. This provides initial contact with the teacher recruitment department.

Now that I have completed my on-line application, what happens next?
Your application will be available for viewing by our district Staffing Office and principals throughout the district. You will need to send or bring in original transcripts of all college/university work to the Applicant Office, Duval County Public Schools, 1701 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
